He married Jemima Cox Wheat2,5 [Ann Wheat4, Jemima Watat3], Dec 22 18842,5, St. Matthews Church, Leicester, Leicestershire2,5. Jemima, daughter of Henry Wheat & Sophia Cox, was born Oct 22 1862, Burton Overy, Leicestershire.5 (Nov 2 1864).6
Arthur and Jemima separated in 1888 when Jemima emmigrated to the U.S. with their children. It is unknown if they ever formally divorced.2 On Sep 25 1888 Jemima and children arrived at the Port of New York on the S.S. Wisconsin:5,7
