She married Robert Sterling Simpson, 1841.^76,a    Robert was born Mar 5 1822.^b,a

Robert purchased a tract of land in Jackson County, Alabama.    Later George Washington Henshaw purchased land adjacent to Robert's tract.^a    Therefore it is possible that George and Rebecca were closely related (perhaps siblings).

Rebecca and Robert moved to Texas about 1852 and had nine children.^a    One child was:^b

Rebecca Jane Henshaw died Feb 21 1905, Caldwell, Texas.^a

This could be Rebecca, dau of James, born ?-?-1823, Tennessee.    Her brother Carrel married in 1850 - his spouse was born in Alabama.    Perhaps this Hinshaw group lived for some time in Alabama & Rebecca married there.
