Joseph died Orange, Coshocton County, Ohio, buried Bowman Cemetery, Coshocton, Ohio.
Joseph kept a diary, and he referred to Rhua Ann as Annie. They are both buried on top of a hill up from their house, in Bowman Cemetery. Also buried there are Lewis M. Higbee, and William and Mary Matilda Maxwell.4
Rhua Ann was very likely the daughter of Jonathan Seman Henshaw, who settled in Coshocton County, Ohio. Francis Asbury Stafford, thought to be the brother of Elizabeth (Stafford) Henshaw,20 also settled in Coshocton County; his daughter Mary (Stafford) Compton named her first daughter Rhua12 (presumably named after her cousin Rhua Henshaw).20
