He married Helen Gordon Stuart, Nov 11 1927, London, Middlesex County, Ontario.1  Helen, daughter of Archibald Stuart & Elizabeth McPherson, was born Aug 1 1910, Aberdeen, Scotland.1,2  

William Miller Henshaw was a steelworker for many years.  He worked on the building of the Blue Water Bridge between Sarnia, Ontario and Port Huron, Michigan.  William also worked on the dome of the cathederal in Val'Dor, Quebec.1  

William and Helen built a house and shop at 400 Vancouver Street, London, Ontario with money saved while William was working on the Blue Water Bridge.1  

When William retired as a steelworker, he established a small business in the shop behind his home at 400 Vancouver St., London, Ontario, where he designed, built and repaired fishing equipment.  During this period there were patents granted for the deisgn of fishing rods that were hand-built by William Henshaw.1  

William was known by all of his friends as "Hawk".1  

Helen died Sep 10 1983, London. Middlesex County, Ontario; buried Forest Lawn, London, Ontario.1  

Helen's obituary was published in the "London Free Press" (London, Ontario):1

At Victoria Hospital South Street Campus on Saturday, September 10, 1983, Mrs Helen G. (Stuart) Henshaw of 400 Vancouver Street, in her 74th year.  Beloved wife of William M. (Hawk) Henshaw.  Dear mother of William S. Henshaw, London.  Sister of Archibald Stuart of Baysville.  ...

William Miller Henshaw died Feb - 1993, London, Middlesex County, Ontario; buried Forest Lawn, London, Ontario.1
