He married Sarah A. Young12 [Susan Young1], Mar 18 187212, Williamson County, Illinois12.  Sarah was born 1851, Jackson County, Illinois.1  

William was a farmer in Harrisburg, Saline County, Illinois.1  

Sarah died Feb 11 1880.3,13  Medical: Sarah died from pneumonia.13  

Just three days before Sarah died from pneumonia, on Feb 8 1880, one of their infant children also died13 (name unknown).  A newspaper article from the period mentioned that William Riley Hinshaw had three deaths in the house in the same month.13

Henshaw, Mary A., daughter, age 6, born in Illinois; parents born in Illinois; attended school.
Henshaw, Elroy, son, age 5, born in Illinois; parents born in Illinois; attended school.
Living next door in 1880 was the family of first cousin Mary Ann Henshaw Keel.14  Also living nearby was the family of Mary Ann's brother Anderson Corder Henshaw.15  

He then married Fanny Davis16 [Fannie Neely1, Fannie Neeley9, Fanny Neely5,7], Mar 6 188116, Williamson County, Illinois16.  Fanny, daughter of John Neeley & Francis Lemball, was born Dec 16 1856, Illinois.9,17  A previous son, Arthur Davis, became a half-brother to the Henshaw children.2  

William and family were shown in the 1920 census (Jan 10-12 1920), Harrisburg, Saline County, Illinois:17

Hinshaw, Fanny, wife, age 64, born in Illinois; father born in West Virginia; mother born in Wisconsin.

William Riley Hinshaw died Dec 21 1934, Harrisburg, Saline County, Illinois; age 83.9  

Fanny died Dec 9 1935, Evanston, Cook County, Illinois; age 79.9
