Born Jan 8 1858, Virginia.1,2,3
Eugenia was very probably named after Eugenia E. Henshaw,4 daughter of James Owen Henshaw & Ann Elizabeth Early, who died as an infant in 1857.
She married Walker Jones Mitchell, Feb 17 1876, Madison County, Virginia.1,5 Walker, son of John Mitchell & Nancy Tanner, was born Jul 7 1847, Madison County, Virginia.1,3,5
At the time of her marriage, Eugenia was recorded as age 18, with her mother listed as Belinda Henshaw and her father as "unknown".6 Note that Eugenia was born well after William Henshaw had died (sometime before 1855);7 therefore it seems that Eugenia was Belinda's child by some other father, however she was raised with and used the Henshaw name.
Children:1,3
