Muriel S. Henshaw died Dec 26 1928, at her home, Torbrook Mines, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia; age 16.1,2  

Muriel's obituary was published in the "Outlook" on Thursday, March 21, 1929 (page 4):1,3

Muriel Henshaw -

On December 26, 1928, Muriel Henshaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Egbert Henshaw. passed away after a lingering illness of eight months at her home at Torbrook Mines.  She was 16 years old and was born at Bear River.  Muriel was an ambitious little girl, but slight and delicate and it was trying to help support her mother and little brother that she contacted the dread disease that led to her early death.  She is survived by her mother and two brothers.  The funeral service was held in the United Church and was conducted by Rev. Geo. Hamilton.  Interment at Torbrook Mines Cemetery.

Muriel is also shown on the gravestone with her mother and two brothers in Lot 85 of the same cemetery.
