George E. Henshaw KINGSTON - George Edward Henshaw, 83, of Exeter Road, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, in Exeter Hospital.   He was born April 24, 1919, in Salem, Mass., the son of the late Wallace L. and Helen M. (Newcomb) Henshaw.  He resided in North Andover, Mass., before moving to Kingston in 1959.   He was a 1937 graduate of Salem High School and attended Northeastern University.  He played high school and college football.   He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving three years in the South Pacific as a medical technician.  He was the recipient of the Presidential Citation, C067 American Division, the American Defense Service Medal and the Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaign Ribbon with two service stars.   Mr. Henshaw owned and operated a dairy farm until his retirement 20 years ago.   He was a longtime member of the Starr King Lodge AF & AM of Salem.   In his youth he enjoyed skiing as a member of a club that built their own lodge in North Conway, sailing with the Sea Scouts and climbing Mt. Katahdin.   He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lillian A. (Kersis) Henshaw of Kingston; one daughter, Valerie A. Gilbert of California; two sons, George E. Henshaw of California and Richard F. Henshaw of East Kingston; four grandchildren; and one brother, Lenley Henshaw of Wells, Maine.   Memorial services were held Tuesday in the Brewitt Funeral Home, Exeter, with the Rev. Wendall Irvine officiating.   Memorial donations may be made to the N.H. SPCA, P.O. Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885.
