He married Elizabeth Young.1,3,9  Elizabeth, daughter of Henry Young, was born Jan 12 1817, Pennsylvania.4,6,8,9,10  Elizabeth was probably born in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania as her father, Henry Young, had moved from Luzerne County to Butler County in 1824.9  

The German Reformed Church was organized in Butler County, Pennsylvania in 1845, at the Henshaw Schoolhouse.  Among the charter members and their families was Abram Henshaw.  Also charter members were unidentified John Henshaw and Eli Henshaw.11  Abram Henshaw was made a Deacon.11  

In October, 1846, the congregation resolved to build a house of worship, and appointed Abram Henshaw, Henry Dufford, Frederick Barickman and Henry Schlegle as a committee to solicit subscriptions for that purpose.  This committee was soon afterward appointed as a Building Committee, and John Henshaw, Samuel Dufford and Eli Henshaw were elected as Trustees.11

Henshew, Ellen, age 13, born in Pennsylvania; attended school.

On the night of April 11, 1875, a major fire destroyed $100,000 worth of property in Donegal Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania.  Among the property lost was the dwelling house of A. Henshaw.13  

Abraham and Elizabeth were again shown in the 1880 census (Jun 11 1880), Millerstown, Butler County, Pennsylvania:10,12

Henshew, Elizabeth, wife, age 63, born in Pennsylvania; parents born in Pennsylvania; keeping house.

Abraham Henshaw died Nov 5 1893, buried Zions Cemetery near Meridian, Butler County, Pennsylvania.8  

Elizabeth died Apr 6 1898, buried Zions Cemetery near Meridian, Butler County, Pennsylvania.8
