Note that the 1900 census show conflicting information - it shows William's uncle Jay (Jarrett) clearly as single, yet it also shows Alma as his daughter. It is unknown exactly who was the above Alma, but from her age it appears she might have been William's sister.8
He married Verona Ressie Logan2,5 [Ressie Verona Logan3,6,9,10,11], about 19102,5. Verona, daughter of William Ezekiel Logan & Rosa Crawford, was born Feb 25 1894, Tennessee.9,10 She was sometimes known as "Rick".10

William Clarence Hinshaw died Oct 28 1948.5
In 1979 Ressie was living in/near Union City, Obion County, Tennessee.9
Verona died Nov 25 1979, Obion County, Tennessee; age 85.9,11
