Born 18961,2,3 [about 19014], San Juan, Chihuahua, Mexico1,2,3.  

On Jun 5 1917 Andrés Bustamante, age 21, registered for the World War I draft in Eddy County, New Mexico.  He declared he was born in 1896 in San Juan, Chihuahua, Mexico, and was then an alien, a citizen of Mexico, residing in Artesia, New Mexico, single, without dependents, occupied as a farm laborer employed by "American farmer" in Artesia, New Mexico.  He claimed an exemption "for alien".  He was recorded as short, slender, dark brown eyes, black hair.2  

Andrés Bustamante died 1959.  Andres disappeared, last seen on Dec 20 [apparently 1959], and was never seen again.5  

Andres was finally declared dead and his estate was settled in 1966.6  Mentioned in the estate settlement newspaper notice were the following family members:
