Tourist attractions in SF bay area
The San Francisco bay area has many tourist attractions.
I'll show some of them here, divided by city or region.

General map of bay area and adjoining region
San Francisco
The most concentrated region of tourist attractions (in the
bay area) is the city of San Francisco. Here's a view of the
skyline of the city:

In that image, you can see some of the attractions that will
be individually listed here.
Oakland / east bay
Across the bay is the city of Oakland, and smaller cities adjoining it,
the East Bay region. I couldn't find a good skyline image of Oakland,
so here's some part of it:

Here are some attractions in and near Oakland.
San Jose / south bay
We are located in the southbay region, dominated by the
city of San Jose. I couldn't find any image of San Jose
that I could recognize, so instead I've included a map showing the major
freeways and highways that connect to/through San Jose:

Here are some attractions in and near San Jose.
Peninsula
Between the southbay and the city of San Francisco is
the peninsula, specifically the side of the peninsula
facing the bay. I don't have an image of this whole area,
so here's a map (centered on Redwood City) instead:

(You can see San Francisco at the upper left, San Jose at lower right,
and Oakland in upper right.)
Here are some attractions along the peninsula.
The coast along the ocean
On the other side of the peninsula is the coast of the
Pacific Ocean. There are lots of public beaches here.
Here's a map centered in this area:

Here are some attractions along this part of the coast.

In case you got lost, here's a more general map showing the whole bay area and
some adjoining area:
