AS DISTASTEFUL AS IT IS for me, a North Carolina grad, to say it: Duke grad Grant Hill appears to be the person to take over for UNC grad Michael Jordan as the NBA's best player/spokesperson.

Yick. Ptooey. Aack.

Grant Hill sucks! Besides that, he looks awful in earrings and tattoos.

Hill is a ballhog. He dominated the possessions on his team like no other individual in the league last year except Mitch Richmond in Sacramento. If he'd just let some other guy, someone like Michael Jordan, shoot for the Pistons, this team might actually win a title.

Hill can't shoot from the outside, making only 10 of 33 shots from the three-point line. Can you imagine how bad he'll be with the line moved back? He's just going to have to let Joe Dumars, Lindsey Hunter, and Aaron McKie take those shots.

Hill isn't even as good as his replacement. The Pistons were undefeated last year when Hill didn't play and a meek 52-28 when he did.

Hill is terrible off the bench, so the Pistons have to start him. The guy has a career average of only 5 ppg off the bench, shooting under 30% from the field. He must have some mental problem because he does play better as a starter.

I honestly don't know how Hill beat that kid in the "You're in my world now, Hill!" commercials. They can fake anything on TV.
