Potawatomi Lake covers 4 acres and has 1600 feet of shoreline. The max depth of this lake is 9 feet. A depth map is not available at this time. This lake was dug in 1959 to provide fill for the Tri-State Tollway. Spelled Potawatomi by the Cook County Forest Preserves, the actual tribe signed most treaties with the United States as Pattawatimas. |
