Tons of parking for reservation holders
Toasted redwoods are still alive
Sandy hills were bursting with yellow and green after all the rain
Views on the way up to Peak 1688 were nice but. . .
. . .but the trail had filled in quite a big since my last visit (which was soon after the fire)
Made it to the summit, which had convenient deadfall to sit on
And then we had to head back down and climb over things a second time
