She then married John Madison, Apr 9 1887, Henry County, Indiana.1,5,6  John, son of Charles Madison & Polly Hill, was born Nov 4 1840, Rush County, Indiana.5  

John was a Civil War veteran, having enlisted in October 1861 in Company A, Fifty-seventh Regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry, under the immediate command of Captain Allison, of Knightstown.5  

John had been previously married to Elizabeth C. Sparks, who died in 1885, but had no children from that marriage.5
