Clarence's obituary was published in the "Wenatchee World" (Wenatchee, Washington) on September 12, 2008:⁷

Clarence E. Hinshaw Clarence E. Hinshaw, 77, of Omak, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, at Mid-Valley Hospital in Omak.   Survivors include his children, Ross Hinshaw and Tina Anderson, both of Stites, Idaho, Wayne Hinshaw of Bellingham, Ivy Michel and Bill Norton, both of Omak, Raylynn Hinshaw of Oldtown, Idaho.   Services will be held at a later date.   Arrangements are by Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel of Okanogan/Omak and the Okanogan County Crematory.
