He married Dorothy Handy, May 14 1946.^1,8  Dorothy, daughter of Marshell Handy, was born 1928, Wilkes County, North Carolina.³  

Charlie and Dorothy lived and raised their family in Walnut Cove, Stokes County, North Carolina.¹  

Charlie and Dorothy divorced Oct 18 1989, Stokes County, North Carolina.⁸  

He then married Nancy Permelia Shore, Dec 11 1989, Wilkesboro, Wilkes County, North Carolina.⁹  

Charlie Franklin Hincher died Dec 21 1994, Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina; age 68.^6,7,10
