LuAnn Spillman Hinshaw
YADKINVILLE - Mrs. LuAnn Spillman Hinshaw, 47, of East Old US 421 passed away Friday Dec. 5, 2003, at her home. She was born June 4, 1956, in Forsyth County to Odell and Betty Spillman. Mrs. Hinshaw was the owner and property manager for Beech Tree Realty. She was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church and the N.C. Real Estate Commission as a broker. Surviving are her daughter, Nikki Hinshaw of the home; her parents, Odell and Betty Spillman of Yadkinville; a special aunt, Nell McKnight of Yadkinville; special friends, Marlene Wood, Larry Hamm, Keith Walsh, Bill Bentley, Roscoe Smith and Martha Martin. Her funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7 [sic], at the Gentry Family Chapel by Dr. Ron Davis and the Rev. Bill Hale. Burial will follow in the Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today, Dec. 7, at Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Deep Creek Baptist Church, 2400 Old Stage Road, Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family would like to give a special thank you to Hospice of Yadkin County and to Christie Dobson, LuAnn's Hospice nurse, for all the care, love and friendship she shared for the past three months.
