Lora, daughter of Charles Rollin Hadley & Almeda Rachel Hobson, was born Dec 17 1885, Mt. Vernon, Aurora County, South Dakota.^3,6,14,15 Lora had been previously married Jun 27 1916 to Clinton L. Nellis,^6,13,14,15 who had died in 1946,¹³ and by whom she had two children, Robert Nellis and Esther Nellis.^13,15
