At Honey Creek MM on 8-9-1902, Clarence was received on a certificate from Hubbard MM, Iowa.1  

He married Anna L. Hadley1,3,4, Feb 26 19131,3,4 [Feb 28 19136].  Anna, daughter of Perry M. Hadley & Evaline Allen1, was born Sep 25 18851 [Sep 24 18852,3,4,6,7], Dallas County, Iowa1.  

At Honey Creek MM on 12-13-1913, Anna L. (Hadley) was received on a certificate from Earlham MM, Iowa.1  

Clarence and family were shown in the 1920 census (Jan 3 1920), Providence Township, Hardin County, Iowa:2

Hinshaw, Clarence, head-of-household, age 33, born in Iowa; father born in Indiana; mother born in Iowa; owned home; occupation: farmer.
Hinshaw, Anna H., wife, age 34, born in Iowa; parents born in Indiana.
Hinshaw, Mildred E., daughter, age 4 years 1 month, born in Iowa; parents born in Iowa.
Humph[..unclear..], Waybe B., boarder, age 27, born in Iowa; single; occupation: rural mail carrier, rural mail route.
Next door in 1920 was the household of Clarence's parents.10  

Clarence and family were shown in the 1930 census (Apr 22 1930), Providence Township, Hardin County, Iowa:5

Living next door in 1930 was Clarence's widowed mother with her brother.11  

Anna died Oct 9 1943, New Providence, Hardin County, Iowa; buried New Providence Cemetery, Providence Township, Hardin County, Iowa.3,6,7,12  

Anna's obituary was published in "The American Friend" on November 18, 1943 (page 466).12  

He then married Lora Rebecca Hadley3,6,13,14 [Lora Rebecca Hadley Nellis12], Feb 3 19483,6,13,14, Hubbard, Louisiana3,6,13,14.  Lora, daughter of Charles Rollin Hadley & Almeda Rachel Hobson, was born Dec 17 1885, Mt. Vernon, Aurora County, South Dakota.3,6,14,15  Lora had been previously married Jun 27 1916 to Clinton L. Nellis,6,13,14,15 who had died in 1946,13 and by whom she had two children, Robert Nellis and Esther Nellis.13,15  

The following article was published in the "Hardin County Index" (Eldora, Iowa) on Friday, February 10, 1950:16

Clarence Hinshaw spent a couple of days last week in Minneapolis, Minn., with his adopted brother, John Hinshaw, of Minot, N. D., who was there for a medical checkup.  Mr. Hinshaw returned home Friday night.

Lora died Jun 18 1953, Edlora Memorial Hospital, Eldora, Hardin County, Iowa; age 67.3,6,12,13,14,15
