Clark Hanshaw OVAPA - Clark Hanshaw, 90, of Ovapa, Clay County, died Aug. 3, 1997, in Brian Center after a long illness. He was a laborer and veteran of World War II. Surviving: son, Clarence Hanshaw of Upper Marlboro, Md.; daughters, Peggy Courtney of Tampa, Fla., Brenda Hanshaw of Garner, N.C., Linda Melvin of Apex, N.C.; brother, Don Hanshaw of Fort Myers, Fla.; sisters, Retta Brown, Netta Brown and Hetta Brown, all of Ovapa, Helen Harvis and Jane O'Dell, both of Orrville, Ohio; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Carl Wilson Funeral Home, Clay, with the Rev. Wilma Dobbins officiating.    Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery, Ovapa.    Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
