HENSHAW, ROBERT P. - 53, a 15 year resident of Hopewell Junction, previously of Kent, died May 6, 2002 at Hudson Valley Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born November 13, 1948 in North Tarrytown to Joseph Henshaw and Dorothy Merritt. He was an Electrician for Local #3 for the last 33 years, and a member of Orange County HOG and Member of the Lake Carmel Volunteer Fire Department. He married Diane Herbold on November 27, 1969 in Tarrytown. Survivors include wife Diane at home, mother Dorothy of Sleepy Hollow, daughters Dawn Henshaw of Hopewell Junction and Wendy DeBenedictus of Hopewell Junction, son Robert P. Henshaw Jr of Hopewell Junction, Joseph Henshaw of Brant Lake, granddaughters Rachael and Ashley. Calling hours Thursday from 2-4 and and 7-9 pm at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc, 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Funeral service Friday at 10 am in the Chapel of the funeral home. Burial at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
