Hanshaw, Naomi C., wife, age 23, born in Pennsylvania; parents born in Pennsylvania; first married at age 21.

He then married Emme F. (Gnidic) Lind6 [Emme F. Gnidic6], 19806, Sun City, Maricopa County, Arizona6.  Emme, daughter of John Gnidic & Pauline Lousin, was born Feb 18 1910, Great Falls, Montana.6  

In 1993 Arthur was still living in/near Sun City, Maricopa County, Arizona.5  

Arthur S. Hanshaw died Sep 6 1993.5  

Emme died Nov 28 2006, at her home, Sheridan, Wyoming; age 96.6

Emme F. Hanshaw

SHERIDAN -- Funeral Mass for Emme F. Hanshaw, 96, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at Holy Name Catholic Church with the Rev. Ron Stolcis officiating.  

A Christian Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. tonight at Kane Funeral Home.  

She died Nov. 28, 2006, at her residence.  

She was born Feb. 18, 1910, in Great Falls, Mont., to John and Pauline (Lousin) Gnidic.  

In 1927, she married H. Joseph Lind in Butte, Mont.  

She was a certified dental assistant and was employed by private dentists in Butte and Seattle, as well as at the University of Washington Dental School.  

Her husband died in 1961.  

In 1980, she married Arthur Hanshaw in Sun City, Ariz.  They shared their lives together until his death in 1993.  

She loved traveling, crafts and dancing.  She was very adventurous and adaptable and found interests wherever she was.  

She especially delighted in hosting parties and cooking.  She spent many hours volunteering at Bozwell Hospital when she lived in Sun City.  She formed strong friendships and always had close friends.  

Since moving to Sheridan in 2004, she was more limited but enjoyed participating in Council of Catholic Women and St. Joseph's Circle activities.  

Survivors include two daughters, Sister Jean Lind of Sheridan and Shirley Roberts of Colorado Springs; a son, Robert Lind of Sacramento, Calif.; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, her brother, Albert Gnidic and her stepson, Bruce Hanshaw.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Holy Name School, Fulmer Public Library or the Senior Center, in care of Tara Keep, First Federal Savings Bank, P.O. Box 6007, Sheridan, 82801.
