He married Beulah Walker, Sep 21 1921, Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia.1,3 Marriage performed by U.B. Atkinson.3 Beulah was born 1894, Kentucky.1,4 (c1891).3
At the time of their marriage, both Eli and Beulah were residents of Kanawha County, West Virginia.3
In 1923 Eli was living in Chinnville (now Raceland), Greenup County, Kentucky.1
At the time of the birth of son Raymond in 1923, Eli's occupation was recorded as boilermaker.1
Shortly after the birth of son Raymond, Eli and Beulah divorced.1 Beulah and son Raymond were shown in the 1930 census (Apr 7 1930), living with Beulah's sister Daisy in Wurtland Village, Greenup County, Kentucky:4
