He married Eva Wharton, Feb 24 1915, Forsyth County, North Carolina.2,5  Eva, daughter of Albert Wharton & Anna Hill, was born about 1886, North Carolina.2,7,8  

On Sep 12 1918 George Miller Hinshaw, age 37, registered for the World War I draft.  His draft registration card noted he had brown hair and blue eyes.  It recorded his wife as Eva Wharton Hinshaw of Clemmons, North Carolina.4  

Miller and family were shown in the 1920 census (Jan 12 1920), living in the household of Eve's widowed father in Clemmonsville, Forsyth County, North Carolina:2

George Miller Hinshaw died Apr 2 1931, Forsyth County, North Carolina.9
