Cecil Leroy Hinshaw
Cecil Leroy Hinshaw, aged 82, passed from life on Thursday August 23rd. Cecil was a long time resident of Lakeside and was born and raised in Ramona. He was married to Norma for 57 years and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish in Lakeside. Cecil was a firefighter for the USFS in his teenage years, a Technical Sergeant in the Army in World War II and a road maintenance worker, supervisor and superintendent for the County of San Diego. Cecil retired in 1980 after 33 years with the County. Cecil is survived by his wife Norma, three children Chris Hinshaw, Cindy Mitchell and Cheryl Shirley, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 13208 Lakeshore Dr., Lakeside on Tuesday August 28th, with a rosary at 5:30 p.m. and mass at 6:00 p.m. Please sign the guest book at obituaries.uniontrib.com
