Born Feb 2 1897, Wetumka, Hughes County, Oklahoma.4,5  

After his mother died, Tom was raised by his maternal grandparents.6  

On Jun 5 1918 Thomas Henshaw, age 21, registered for the World War I draft in Okemah, Okfuskee County, Oklahoma.  He declared he was born Feb 2 1897 in Wetumka, Oklahoma, and he was then still residing in Wetumka where he was self-employed.  He declared he was a U.S. citizen, [..unclear..] Indian, and his father's birthplace was unknown.  He declared his nearest relative was Jeff Canard of Clearview [Okfuskee County], Oklahoma.  He was recorded as medium height, medium build, dark brown eyes, black hair.4  

He married Lucy Micco1,2,3 [Rosa Micco5], about 19161,2,3.  Lucy was born about 1895, Oklahoma.2,5  

Thomas and Lucy (Rosa) were shown in the 1920 census (Jan 15 1920), Hickory Ridge Township, Okfuskee County, Oklahoma:5

Lucy remarried to a -- Wise1,3 and had children Jasper Wise and Sarah (Wise) Helton.3  

He then married Blanche -6 [Blanch -7].  Blanche was born May 16 1908.7  

No children from the second marriage.6  

Blanche died Oct 30 1995, buried Wetumka, Hughes County, Oklahoma.6,7
