New Salem MM, on 2-25-1865, recorded "Nathan married contrary to discipline; Duck Creek MM asked to treat with him; Duck Creek MM reported him to be beyond their limits".17
Duck Creek MM, on 3-23-1865, recorded "Nathan Hinshaw - New Salem MM requested Duck Creek to treat with him for marrying contrary to discipline. 6-22-1865 Duck Creek reports he is not in the limits of this meeting & New Salem MM so informed."1
