Everett was a World War I veteran.1 On Jun 5 1917 Everett Love Hanshaw, age 20 [unclear] registered for the World War I draft in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. He declared he was born Oct 23 1896 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, and was then residing on Mullberry St., W. Bridgewater, [Beaver County,] Pennsylvania. He declared his nearest relative was Mrs. [..unclear..] Wagoner of the same address. He was recorded as having gray eyes, brown hair.4
He married Helen M. Coleman, about 1921.1 Helen was born May 15 1901, Maryland.1,6 Helen apparently had been previously married and had a son, John W. Coleman.1

In 1942 Everett Love Hanshaw, age 45, registered for the World War II draft. He declared he was born Oct 23 1896 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, and was then residing at Rene St. Extension, Rochester, Rochester Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania where he was employed by Pittsburgh Tube. He declared his relative/contact was Helen Hanshaw of the same address. He was recorded as 5'9" tall, 160 lbs., blue eyes, gray hair, ruddy complexion.5
Helen died Mar - 1967.6
In 1975 Everett was living in/near Beaver, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.6
