May 22, 1910 - July 6, 2005
Robert Grady "Bob" Henshaw, 95, of Harvest died Wednesday at his residence. Mr. Henshaw was a native of Jackson County and was a longtime resident of Madison County. He retired from the City of Huntsville Police Department after 23 years of service. He was a member of Jackson Way Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Lamb Henshaw, and daughter, Linda Henshaw. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Henshaw; one daughter and son-in-law, Janie and Doug Kennedy of Huntsville; one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Carol Henshaw of Vaiden Miss.; one stepdaughter, Tammye and husband, Gary Ross, of Voorhees, N.J.; two stepsons, Bobby Cawthon of Toney, and Billy Cawthon of Huntsville; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today. Funeral services will be at the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Friday with Billy Fowler, Leslie Sharp, and Don Stephens officiating. Interment will be at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
