Norma Mae (Granny/Ma) England, 75, of Jay, OK, passed away Sunday, August 22, peacefully at her home in Jay.  Norma was born in Oilton, OK on May 7, 1935, to Theodore Edward Henshaw and Nova Bell (Werther) Shelton.  Norma married Ross England Sept. 22, 1950, at Yale, OK.  Norma worked as a cook at Tulsa Public Schools for over 10 years before moving to Jay in the 1980s.  

She was preceded in death by her husband Ross England, who died in 2003; three children, Gary England, Larry England, Carl England; one sister, Mary Crabtree; and one brother, Robert Henshaw.  

Norma is survived by two daughters, Betty Leland, of Jay, OK and Barbara Barrett and husband Ron of Coffeyville, KS; two sons, Fred Ross England, of Jay, OK and James England and wife Amanda of Jay, OK; four sisters, Margie Beck, of Colcord, OK, Helen Shaw of Drumright, OK, Virgina Schiller of Milfay, OK, and Brenda Crane of Cushing, OK; one brother, Teddy Henshaw of Tulsa, OK.  She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  

Family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at the Jay Chapel.  Chapel Services were at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the Grand Lake Funeral Home Chapel in Jay with Rev. Tim Lunsford officiating.  Interment was at the Butler Cemetery in Jay.
