A.D. Hinshaw was shown in a Mar 10 1861 membership ledger of Port Williams Christian Church, Lawrence County, Indiana.  Also shown in the church membership were brother Wm. H. Hinshaw and sister E.J. Hinshaw.5  

On Jul 11 1863 A. D. Hinshaw, of Lawrence County, enlisted as a Corporal in Company F, 112th Indiana Infantry.  Mustered out at Indianapolis, Indiana on Jul 16 1863.6  

He married Cornelia -3 [Camelia A. -2], about 18703.  Cornelia was born Mar 8 1845, Indiana.2,3,4,7,8
