Theodore Parker Walton, 92, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital.
Mr. Walton served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was a graduate of Kansas State University with an engineering degree. Mr. Walton had been active in Boy Scouts of America and was a member of the Elks and the American Legion. He was also a member of the Northeast Alabama Crafts Association and the Mountain Dulcimer Association.
Mr. Walton is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Margery Hinshaw Walton; son, Kelly Walton of Phoenix; and daughter, Sara Brawner of Port Richey, Fla.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. in the chapel with Damon Nolin officiating.

Margery Hinshaw Walton, 92, of Huntsville, died Jan. 1 after a short illness.
Mrs. Walton was born in Harveyville, Kan., and was married to the late Theodore P. Walton for 61 years. She held a teaching degree from what is now Emporia State University and taught at schools in Warner Robins, Ga., and Fayettevville, Tenn.
Mrs. Walton was a member of the Burritt Museum Guild, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Oak Park Garden Club.
She is survived by one son, Kelly Walton, of Phoenix, Ariz.; one daughter, Sara Brawner, of Port Richey, Fla; one sister, Sara (Mrs. Lloyd) Thompson, of Kansas City, Mo.; two nephews; one niece; and several grandnephews and grandnieces.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 18, at 3 p.m. at Highlands United Methodist Church, Huntsville. Bishop Lawrence L. Reddick III will officiate, and the family will greet friends at a reception afterwards.
Spry Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements, and Morgan Funeral Home handled arrangements in Florida. Burial will be later in Harveyville, Kan.
