James had made his will on Oct 24 1889.^q In his will he provided funds for the placement of a gravestone on the grave of his son James.^q

Elizabeth's obituary was published in the "Gallipolis Daily Tribune" (Gallipolis, Ohio) on May 14, 1902 (page 1, column 4).^r
