He married Mary Bruce Clendening.^165,166,a,c    Mary was born May 1 1888.¹⁶⁵

Edwin joined the Gerrardstown Presbyterian Church on Dec 7 1901.    On Jan 2 1916 he was ordained and installed a Deacon.¹⁶⁵

Edwin Campbell Henshaw died Jan 3 1943, at his home, Bunker Hill, Mill Creek, Berkeley County, West Virginia; age 59y 2m 7d; buried Jan 5 1943, Gerardstown, Berkeley County, West Virginia.^165,166,c

After Edwin died, Mary found the ancestral homestead, "Spring Hill", too much of a responsibility, and she sold it to Mr. E. P. Peoter in 1951.¹⁶⁶    The farm had been in the Henshaw family for eight generations as follows:¹⁶⁶
