Quietly Married

A quiet but attractive wedding took place Friday evening, January 10, in the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Roadman of Merrittstown when their daughter, Winifred Roadman, became the bride of Clark Henshaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. G. Henshaw, also of Merrittstown.

Rev. R. C. VanEman, pastor of Hopewell Presbyterian Church, performed the ceremony at 8 o'clock and the only attendants were Loma and Jack Roadman, sister and brother of the bride.

After the exchange of marriage vows refreshments were served to the guests who were seated at a prettily appointed table, which was adorned with a four-tiered wedding cake.

Mrs. Henshaw is a teacher in Luzerne township school and Mr. Henshaw is employed by the General Water Company at Fredericktown.
