HANSHAW, Eileen Margaret - 80, Dartmouth, died suddenly April 13, 2004, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Toronto, she was the only child of the late George and Rhoda (Mitchell) Mainprize. She was an avid bowler and swimmer, and also enjoyed arts and crafts. She was an active member of the Findlay Community Centre Seniors Citizens Club, Dartmouth, and prior to moving to Dartmouth she was a member of the Horizons Seniors Club, Bear River. She is survived by sons, Gordon (Stella) Dartmouth; Philip (Lynda), Cornwallis; daughter, Wileen Roy (Carman Tugwood), Dartmouth; grandchildren, Renee, Greg, David, Christopher, Jeffrey and Whitney; great-granddaughter, Autumn Leigh Strickland. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred; stepmother Elva. Visiting will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, all in Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen St., Dartmouth, Rev. Stephen Fram officiating. Burial will be Saturday in Mount Hope Cemetery, Bear River. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
