Born 5-19-1848, Springfield MM, Wayne County, Indiana.1,2,3,4,5,6,7  

On Sep 8 1864 (at the age of 16), Henry B. Hinshaw of Springfield, Wayne County, Indiana, enlisted as a private in Company G, 21st Regiment, 1st Indiana Heavy Artillary, U.S. Army.3,8  

At Walnut Ridge MM on 10-19-1878, Henry B. Hinshaw was received in membership.9  

At Walnut Ridge MM on 12-21-1878, Henry was granted a certificate to Whitewater MM.9  

At Whitewater MM on 1-22-1879, Henry B. was received on a certificate from Walnut Grove MM.10  

At Whitewater MM on 2-26-1885, Henry was dropped from membership for neglected attendence of meeting.10
