Some people hike to enjoy the beauty of nature ... some people hike to achieve inner serenity ... some people hike for the physical and mental challenge ... we hike because we love to suffer!

The hiking group was formed in the summer of 1996 by Russell Gee, Taylor Leal, Peter Saviz, and Steve Walstra. Since then, over 600 other people have joined us on our adventures around the hills and valleys of this beautiful state and beyond.

We hike at a different location in the Bay Area (and sometimes farther away) nearly every weekend. Check out the FAQ page for additional details.

Remember ... it's not an INCH hike unless someone gets lost!
