In a continued pursuit of 300-ft prominence peaks in the Bay Area, I noticed a route that would be entirely within legal hiking constraints. A hike was born.

The parking area at Valley View Park in San Ramon was no problem. Plenty of space even after we were all assembled. From there, it was a zig-zag route across local paved areas and dirt fire roads.

The first and only legit peak was Peak 1120 with over 400 feet of prominence. Several people pointed out that others skipped the detour to this peak. I hadn't paid attention so can only say Occasional has less tolerance for such things and will happily act on such information. :-)

But anyway, most people enjoyed this peak and its questionable neighbor "Ramon Peak," which shows up nowhere except Google Maps.
