Glenn and Anna were divorced May 8 1931.3 Anna remarried to a -- Becker,1 and (apparently) to a Henry C. Ostertag (Oct 28 1902 - Jan 1987).5,12 Son Merle took the name Ostertag and declared his father to be Henry Ostertag. Anna died Apr - 1990.5
He then married Bessie Dekin, about 1930.1,3 Bessie was born Feb 6 1899.1,5
No children from the third marriage.1
In 1931-1932 Glenn was living at 503 Elm Street, Valley Junction, Iowa.3
Bessie died Jun - 1973, Wathena, Doniphan County, Kansas; age 74.1,3,5

Mrs Bessie Dekin Hanshaw, 74, Wathena KS, Died Tuesday Morning at a local Hospital. Born in Halls, MO. Mrs Hanshaw had lived in Wathena for 1 years [sic]. She was a member of Forsquare Church in St. Joseph. She is survived by her husband Glenn Carl Hanshaw of the home. The body is at the Clark Mortuary.

He then married Minnie Elizabeth Edwards3 [Minnie Elizabeth Johnston3], Feb 22 19743, Hiawatha, Brown County, Kansas3. Marriage license #10693; marriage by probate Judge Dee Henry; witnesses were Hazel J. Chesnut & Lucy T. Moore.3 Minnie, daughter of George Albert Edwards & Sarah Jane Clymens, was born Nov 28 1896, Atchison, Nodaway County, Missouri.3
Minnie had been twice previously married, first to Frank Albert Turner, who died Jan 16 1948, and secondly to Allen Wilford Johnston, who died Sep 4 1967.3
Minnie and her first husband had a restaurant in St. Joseph, Missouri, near the old Union Station. They had been friends with Glenn and Bessie in the 1930s.1
Glenn Carlos Hanshaw died Nov 13 19751,5,8, Wathena, Doniphan County, Kansas1,5,8; buried Ashland Cemetery, Doniphan County, Kansas1,5,8 [Mt. Auburn Cemetery13].
Minnie died about 1985, St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri.3
