She married Joseph Hinshaw, 1-10-1788, Cane Creek MM, North Carolina.1 Joseph Hinshaw, son of Jacob Hinshaw & Rebecca Mackey, was born about 1742, County Armagh, Ireland.2,3 Joseph and Ruth were second cousins (Ruth's grandfather Jacob Marshall was the brother of Joseph's grandmother Mary Marshall).
Joseph Hinshaw died Nov 30 1827, Surry County, North Carolina.2
