She married Edwin Emanuel Walline, May 30 1917, Boone County, Missouri.2,6  Edwin, son of Jonas P. Walline & Matilda Boo, was born Jul 15 1890, New Windsor, Mercer County, Illinois.1,7,8,9,10  Edwin's parents were from Sweden; his grandparents were apparently Charles J. & Sarah Christina Walline.7,8

In 1917 Edwin Emmanuel Walline, age 26, had registered for the World War I draft in Chicago, Illinois.  He declared he was born July 15th 1890 in New Windsor, Illinois, and was then residing at 2330 N. Halsted St. in Chicago where he was single, without dependents, and a theological student.  He was recorded as tall, medium build, dark gray eyes, dark brown hair.  He claimed exemption dued to "Missionary to" [..unclear..] "China".9  

Ruth and Edwin were Presbyterian missionaries in China from 1917 to 1960.11,13  

Edwin died Jan 3 1965, Los Angeles County, California; age 74.1  

She then married Nathaniel Bercovitz, Sr., 1966.10,14,15  Nathaniel, son of Moses Bercovitz & Mary Bernstein, was born Jul 18 1889, Constitution, Chile.12,14  

Nathaniel had been previously married to an Elva --,14 who had died Apr 24 1965 in California.10,14  

Ruth Hinshaw died Aug 17 1976, Los Angeles County, California; age 83.1,10  

Nathaniel died Oct 13 1979, Los Angeles County, California; age 90.10,12,14
