Dempsey Jackson Hinshaw died 1865, Missouri; buried plot 82, Stahl Cemetery, southwest of Miller, Lawrence County, Missouri.^a,185

After Jackson died, Mary remarried to a William Robinson,^f,e by whom she had at least two daughters, Tina and Fina Robinson^e (half-sisters to son William).

In 1880 Mary E. Robinson applied for a Civil War Pension as widow of D.J. Hinshaw, veteran of Company C, 76th Missouri E.M.^f
