She married Mahlon Pearson, Nov 9 1823, Grainger County, Tennessee.2,3  Mahlon was born Jan 10 17968 [Jan 10 17972,3,4,6], North Carolina8.  

About 1804 Mahlon's family had moved from North Carolina to Jefferson County, Tennessee.2,8  

At Lost Creek MM (Tennessee), on 4-30-1825, Anna Pearson (formerly Hinshaw) was disowned for her marriage out-of-unity.9

On Oct 2 1834 Anna and her husband and their 5 children moved from Grainger County, Tennessee to Liberty Township, Wabash County, Indiana.  They arrived Nov 9 1834.  They made the trip in one Virginia wagon and two yoke of oxen.  They brought no furniture with them.  Mahlon was the second man to register land in the area.  They had 6 more children.2,11
