Gladys died Feb 28 1944, at her home, 4912 R St., Bradbury Heights, Prince George's County, Maryland; buried unmarked grave, Cedar Hill Cemetery, near Washington D.C., 4111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland, Prince George's County, Maryland.7,12  

Gladys' obituary was published in "The Washington Post" (Washington, D.C.) on March 1, 194412 (see scan below).  

Jesse was shown in the 1930 census (Apr 11 1930), living in a lodging house in Washington, D.C.:13

Anna had been previously married, with children Francis, Helen and Wilson Fletcher.14,15
