Milton was called "Pug" when he was growing up. Now that he is grown everyone calls him M.F.1
Milton graduated from Sloan-Hendrix Academy in Imboden, Arkansas in 1957. His class had planned and saved for four years in order to be able to take a special class trip. They chose to go to Cuba, and they did so. It is a class trip which will never be forgotten by any of them. For after four years of having car washes, bake sales, and other money-raising events in order to accumulate the funds for the trip, they landed in Cuba the very day of Castro's coup and instead of staying a few days in Cuba they stayed a few hours.1
He married Patricia Ann Price, 1961, Mississippi.5,6 Patricia, daughter of Charles Carroll & Sylvia Chandler, was born 1934.1,7

M.F. had a varied career: He was in the Army Security Agency for three years, then worked as a bill collector for about eight months, then sraightened car bumpers for eight months, worked as an insurance salesman for eight months, as a shipping clerk, a night watchman in a Kroger warehouse for two and one-half years, then as an apprentice carpenter, an apprentice bricklayer, and in 1997 was a master electrician. He worked as an electrician for thirty-two years.1
Milton was an inventor and had inventions on the market for which he owned patents. He was a songwriter and an all-around fun guy who had the ability to talk so much like a Cajun he was sometimes mistaken for one.1

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at Scot Ward's Harry White Chapel at 11 a.m. with Rev. John Jordan officiating; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens.
