Born Jul 19 1923, Fairfield, Jefferson County, Iowa.3,5  Jack and sister Betty Jane were twins, born one day apart.1,3  

He married Helen Louise Kendall, Feb 11 1944, Ottumwa, Iowa.6  

He then married Phyllis Elaine Young, Mar 17 1951, San Diego, San Diego County, California.6  

He then married Juanita -, about 1975, Des Moines, Iowa.6  

In 1991 Jack was living in Traer, Tama County, Iowa.4

TRAER, IA.  
Jack Hinshaw of Traer died of a stroke Monday at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.  He was 67.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Overton Funeral Home here, with a 2 p.m. burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Des Moines.  Mr. Hinshaw, a state asbestos inspector, was born in Fairfield and moved to Traer in 1985 after living in Des Moines, where he had been vice president of Allied Construction.  He is survived by a son, Bill of South Carolina; two stepsons, Dennis Boatright of California and Richard Boatright of Des Moines; two daughters, Jacque Brown of Ottumwa and Sally Oldham of Johnston; three sisters, Ruth Schumacher of Minnesota and Jane Pool and Virginia Peterka, both of Nevada; 24 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.  Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
