She married Edward V. Morris5,6,7,9,10 [Edmon Morris11], Dec 17 18935,6,7,9,10, Jackson County, Alabama5,6,7,9,10.  Marriage surety: J. R. Austill.10  Edward, son of Calvin T. Morris & Eliza Jane (Gifford) Yates, was born Aug 22 1872, Tennessee.6,7,8  (Alabama).11  (Aug - 1873, Alabama).1  (c1874, Tennessee).4  Edward was the brother of Charles Morris11,12 who married Susan's sister Eliza Hinshaw, as well as the brother of Nannie Morris who married Mary Susan's cousin James Anderson Hinshaw.
