In 1972 Barbara and family were living in Taiwan. They returned from Taiwan in April 1972, and shortly thereafter Barbara filed for divorce.⁶

Frank remarried to Yun Kai "Kay" Chang.⁶ Francis died Sep 21 1986, San Jose, Santa Clara County, California; age 53.^6,7 Frank died from liver hepatic cirrhosis.⁶

She then married Ray Jay Brandon, at the Justice of the Peace's grocery store, Jellico, Campbell County, Tennessee.^2,6

Barbara Jo Hinshaw died Jan 10 2002, Reid Hospital, Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana; buried Riverside Cemetery, Cambridge City, Wayne County, Indiana.^1,2,3,4 Barbara is buried next to Frank in Riverside Cemetery.⁶

Barbara's obituary was published in "The Palladium-Item" (Richmond, Indiana) on Saturday, January 12, 2002:²
